History
The Terras Altas (Highlands) Park project has been developed since 2016 by Graça Gomes and Elpidio Duarte, members of Alternativa Cultura, a company that has been active in the management of goods and events in various cultural segments since 1998.
The first step to make it feasible was given in 2016, with the acquisition of the Santo Antônio lands and the drafting of the project by the Burle Marx Landscaping Office.
In 2017, we construct about 1 km of runway to access the park, created the firsts architectural plans, approval of cultural projects in the Federal Law of Incentive to Culture, planning and consulting of professionals of several areas essential to the project.
In 2018, we started to renovate and expand the headquarters - Casa Amarela - which will be the first structure of the place, with reception, café, library / tallow, space for co-working and souvenir shop.
Until june 2019, we built two very comfortable chalets, starting a Terras Altas inn, and built a hostel on the upper floor of Casa Amarela. We construct the Annex that works as a multipurpose space to house exhibitions, courses, shows, small events and, colonial breakfast on Sundays and other meals.
The landscaping project is completed and we have started it. The next step will be to raise funds for cultural projects already approved.
We count on you for the viabilization of this audacious project!
Thank You.
