Landscaping Project
The landscaping project of the Terras Altas (Highlands) Park is signed by the Burle Marx Landscaping Office, a renowned studio that has created and developed projects for public, private, commercial and residential spaces, both in Brazil and abroad, since 1955.
The company maintains the concepts of Roberto Burle Marx, who believed that landscape design was a source of art. After Roberto, Haruyoshi Ono - his creative partner for more than three decades - has continued this legacy for more than 20 years, as the one responsible for the creative development of new gardens and panels.
Before his death in 2017, Haruyoshi Ono developed a project for the Highlands Park, where he defined the location of buildings, roads, trails, lakes, living areas, sculptures, panels and gardens.
The new generation of landscapers and architects, composed by Isabela Ono, Júlio Ono and Gustavo Leivas, embraced the idea and will continue the project developed by Haruyoshi Ono.
